EPHYSCIENCE team has developed a model for demonstrating the effect of active compounds on melanogenesis through an action on fibroblast DKK-1 production.
The DKK-1 produced by the fibroblasts binds to the WNT receptor at the melanocytes surface and then modulates the melanin production.
